The active members gathered at the Sub Station on Saturday morning, the 20th of April, to begin placing the new engine in service. The task began by removing and cleaning the hose and equipment from the National Foam Engine. Next, the hose was repacked and the equipment was placed in the compartments of the new Engine 39-3. Once this was complete, the new Engine 39-3 traveled to the Main Station in Marshallton, where it will be housed. The New Engine 39-3 was officially placed in service with Chester County Fire Radio on the afternoon of Sunday April 21, 2013.
