Stargazers Village to Close Two Roads in West Bradford Township for Construction of a Roundabout


King of Prussia, PA - Stargazers Village will close Stargazer Road between Strasburg Road and Lieds Road in West Bradford Township, Chester County from Monday, October, 24, through Monday, October 31, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for the construction of a roundabout, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

During construction, Stargazer Road through traffic will be detoured over Route 162 (Embreeville Road) and Strasburg Road.

In addition, Romansville Road will be closed and detoured between Strasburg Road and Evergreen Drive from Monday, October 31, through Thursday, November 30, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Vehicles will be detoured over West Chester Road, Route 162 (Embreeville Road), Hazelwood Avenue, Marshallton-Thorndale Road and Strasburg Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Construction began in late August to construct the roundabout when the developer moved one eastbound and one westbound travel lane onto the eastbound side of Strasburg Road while crews reconstructed the westbound side of Stargazer Road.

Stargazers Village will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
