Shortly after 3:00pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 Tanker 39 was alerted as part of a Tanker Task Force to assist the Downingtown Fire Department on a large brush pile on Boot Road. Tanker 39 served as a nurse tanker, that accepted water from other tankers and supplied Engine 45 and Engine 46-2. Approximately 17,500 gallons of water was used to extinguish the fire, along with a front end loader and two skid loaders.
