Sunday, as tradition would have it, some of the crew attended the Annual Marshallton Memorial Day Parade, which led us to the Marshallton United Methodist Church for a ceremony honoring those that did not come home after the wars.This event is attended by many area residents as well as some visitors from afar. The weather forecast was for rain, however, as we were prepared for getting wet to attend this important event within the community, the rain held out while the parade went on. It was nice to see the large turnout lining the sidewalks for the event.
