This morning after responding to an odor of gas inside a residence in East Bradford Twp, we had some special visitors at the WBFC substation. United Sports Training Center Day Camp stopped in the station to learn some Fire Prevention and look over the apparatus. Lt Barton gave them some fire safety tips, while explaining what the volunteers at WBFC do during emergencies and what would happen if there was a fire at their house. He explained our firefighting gear, what each apparatus is used for and that we are all volunteers at WBFC that have regular full time jobs, families among other things that take up our time but we volunteer to help our communities. There were 45 day campers, 7 staff members and a lot of questions and we hope everyone learned something today. Thank you to USTC Day Camp for stopping over.
