As we wrap up Fire Prevention Week for 2018, and the crews are finishing up school visits, lets discuss this years Fire Prevention Campaign.

"Look, Listen and Learn. Be Aware. Fire can happen anywhere."
Look - Look for places fire could start around your home or workplace.
Listen - Listen for the sound of the smoke alarm, you could have only minutes to escape once your smoke alarm sounds.
Learn - Learn two ways out of every room and make sure all doors and windows open easily and are free of clutter.

We would like to invite you to join us at the West Bradford Fire Co Substation located at the corner of Marshallton-Thorndale and Poorhouse Road, for our annual Fire Prevention Open House. We will have plenty for the kids to learn about fire safety, equipment displays, and a chimney fire demonstration for anyone that may use a fireplace. We will also have on display our brand new (not in service yet) Rescue truck, so come on out and be the first to view this special piece of apparatus at its first public display. Come up and meet the Volunteers that respond at a moments notice to any emergency they are called to assist someone that they may not even know. We hope to see you on Monday, October 15, between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
