Trick or Treat Safety Items

As many of our residents prepare for Trick or Treat, and the young and maybe old prepare to collect as many treats as possible we would like to offer a few safety tips, from "Chief Jack-O-Lantern".

Please travel at or below the speed limit, as there will be many children excited to collect candy and other treats as they go door to door. Use extra caution when driving through the neighborhoods and on the roads as the streets will be filled with ghosts, ghouls and goblins among the super hero's that will ask for a treat or may play a trick.
Carry a flashlight and place reflective tape on your child's costume, shine the flashlight so you can see where you are walking.
Avoid Trick or Treating alone, travel with a group of friends or adult.
Walk, don't run from house to house or in the street and look both ways before crossing the street.
Do not use an open flame such as candles to shine your way through the darkness.

We hope you enjoy your adventure and don't eat too much candy.
