Saturday morning the volunteers at WBFC awoke very early to start the day at 6:30 am escorting Santa around our first due area. This event was postponed earlier in the month due to rain and wind, however, we made a special request to Santa for nice weather and sure enough he gave it to us. As we prepared for the day we sat with Santa to plan our route and at 7:15 am we began our journey. We were met with smiling faces and excited residents young and old. Santa and the WBFC Volunteers drove approximately 140 miles around our district and handed out almost 2500 candy canes. We finished our route at approximately 4:30 pm and discussed with Santa his list of "Naughty and Nice", he reported that everyone within the WBFC district was on his "Nice List" and that he would be visiting everyone this year. After our discussion we escorted Santa back to the North Pole so he could rest and prepare for his visit Christmas morning.

Thank you to Santa and all of the WBFC volunteers! Our kids are 7 & 9 and it has become part of our Christmas traditions to look for you on that special Saturday morning in December. Merry Christmas!
