The West Bradford Fire Company held it's Annual Open House on Monday October 14, 2019. As a follow-up to our week of school visits, the fire company opened the doors of the sub-station and invited the community to drop by and see the apparatus and equipment that we train on and respond to calls with. Our volunteers answered questions and provided some interactive fun stations that included the kids firefighter challenge course and the fire hose station. Inside the building we turned our training room into a smoke house maze. Outside, we did live fire demonstrations on chimney fires and stove top grease fires. Additionally, our fire service partners from JeffStat Medivac and The Fame Fire Company bought their specialized equipment to the station for an up close view.
