Shortly before departure from the Young's Road fire Brush 39 and TAC 39 were dispatched to assist Station 37 (Modena) with a working brush fire off of Overlook Road. Both units along with Safety 39 responded immediately.

Upon arrival Brush 39 went into service halting the advancing fire while TAC 39 assisted units protecting nearby houses. Both crews remained on-scene for 2 hours suppressing hot spots and assisting other units.
