Pair of accidents

October 30 - The members of the WBFC were alerted to two wrecks today. The first just after the morning rush hour, at the intersection of Strasburg and Telegraph Roads. A Ford Explorer and a Lincoln Town Car impacted near head on. 1 patient was transported to a local hospital and on patient was flown to an area trauma center. Pictures

Units on the assignment: Rescue 39, Engine 39-1, Engine 39-3, Tac 39, Traffic 39, FM-50 (LZO), Eng 37-2 (LZ), Ambulance 55-3, Ambulance 55-4, Medic 91-2, Medic 91-3

Later, toward the end of the evening rush hour, the members were dispatched to Rt. 322 west of Sugarsbridge Rd for another accident. This accident involved 2 vehicles that appeared to sideswipe each other while traveling in opposite directions. 2 patients were transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Accident with Entrapment

October 10 - In the beginning of the morning rush hour, Station 39 was dispatched with Rescue 38 and Station 46 EMS to Marshalton-Thorndale and Poorhouse Rds for an accident with entrapment. On arrival units found a 2 vehicle accident with 1 confined. After a door removal, the patient was extricated and transported to the hospital by Minquas Ambulance. Units cleared in about an hour.
