2 Serious MVAs

September 8th and 9th - The 39 House was busy over the weekend with 2 serious motor vehicle accidents.

The first was at the intersection of Marshallton Thorndale and Strasburg Roads. An SUV entering Strasburg Road from Marshallton Thorndale was struck by a sedan traveling west on Strasburg Rd. 1 patient was flown by SkyFlight Care to Crozer Chester Medical Center for evaluation.

The second accident occurred in front of 1206 Marshallton Thorndale Road at approximately 3:40 AM. An SUV travelling west on Marshallton Thorndale, met head-on with a Jeep Wrangler traveling east. The vehicles left the roadway, ending up in the front yard of 1206 M-T Rd. The occupants of the SUV fled and were captured several hours later by the Pennsylvania State Police. The occupants of the Jeep were all flown to local trauma centers, with a variety of serious injuries.
