Auto Accident with Fire

Friday evening shortly before 6:00pm the company along with 37 Ambulance (Modena) and Medic 93 (Brandywine Hospital) had been dispatched to Romansville Road south of Lone Eagle Road for an accident involving fire, when the Chief responded he was advised by Chester County Fire Radio that the vehicle was overturned, on fire and the driver was out of the vehicle. Lieutenant Houser arrived to report one vehicle overturned, blocking the road way, and well involved with the driver out. The Chief arrived and assumed Romansville Command and began to check on the occupant who was walking around and advised he extricated himself through a broken window, the driver advised he was uninjured and was checked by Medic 93 as they arrived and refused medical treatment. Ambulance 37 stood by until the fire was extinguished and they were released to return to their station. The road was closed for about one hour while the crew cleaned up and assisted the tow company.
