This morning, just as the rain began to fall, the air and road temperatures were hovering below the freezing point, this caused roadways to ice over and vehicles began to encounter slippery roads conditions. As several Fire and EMS companies throughout the County began to respond to vehicle accidents, West Bradford Fire Co, began receiving alerts for accidents, the company made the response to four accidents that were dispatched by Chester County DES and another two accidents that were reported by passing motorists. All this had taken place within an hour. We were assisted by multiple agencies and would like to Thank them for helping us, THANK YOU to PSPE, Thorndale Fire Co, Good Fellowship Ambulance, Gazzerros Towing, West Bradford Road Dept. and the WBFC Volunteers that responded during the icy road conditions. All the incidents were minor, however, this is a reminder that drivers should use caution during cold weather and icy roads.
