On Tuesday March 31st the West Bradford Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched at 09:25 for an auto accident with possible injuries in the area of the Embreeville Mill on Embreeville Road.

Assistant Chief Lucas arrived on scene to find one vehicle up the embankment with the driver who was in a wheel chair still inside. Engine 39-1 went enroute with a crew of four including Deputy Chief Fairweather as the Assistant Chief requested assistance from Rescue 36 (Po-Mar-Lin).

Crews from both fire companies arrived and began stabilization to prevent the vehicle from a possible roll over and then quickly attended to the driver, removing him from the van within several minutes.

Tow truck crews from Gazzerro’s Towing along with members of both fire companies assisted with getting the vehicle back on the road and the uninjured driver on his way.
