Thursday afternoon around 3:45pm, the accident assignment was dispatched to W Strasburg Road and N Creek Road in East Bradford Twp for the vehicle accident with entrapment. Upon the response of Chief 39 and 55 EMS they were advised of a 2 vehicle head on collision with two subjects trapped. On arrival of 55 EMS and Chief 39, it was determined that the one occupant could be removed and was not trapped, however, due to the position of the vehicle and potential injuries the passenger in the car was trapped and needed to be extricated. Upon arrival of the 39 apparatus, crews began extricating the passenger by removing the drivers side doors and removal of the roof. After this was complete the occupant was transferred to 55 EMS for medical care. Fire Police closed W Strasburg Road at Telegraph and N Creek as the accident was on Copes Bridge. 3 EMS units were utilized and all were patients transported to local hospitals.
