As many are aware the area was dealt a brief taste of winter weather on Saturday, this resulted in many vehicle accidents within the area, and three accidents in the WBFC district within two hours. The first accident on Telegraph Road involved a Fed Ex truck and was reported with entrapment. Crews arrived to find no entrapment and controlled hazards while GFAC EMS loaded and transported the driver to a local hospital. Fire Police closed Telegraph Road until the tow company arrived to remove the vehicle. Fire Crews remained on scene until the vehicle was removed from the wooded area.

Shortly after crews cleared Telegraph Road and returned to station the company was alerted at 2:00pm, with Minquas EMS to Marshallton Thorndale Road for another vehicle accident involving a pole and wires down. Crews arrived there and assisted in traffic control and other hazards. Fire Police remained on scene keeping Marshallton Thorndale Road closed until PENN DOT and utility crews arrived to make the area safe and install a new pole. Fire Police cleared the incident at 7:00pm after turning the scene over to Verizon and PECO. The road remained closed until approximately 11:15 pm.

While crews were on scene at Marshallton Thorndale Road we received an alert for another accident in East Bradford Twp, Engine 39-3 and Minquas EMS responded to that incident and units were recalled as there were no services required.
