Tuesday morning, WBFC and GFAC EMS received the dispatch for the automobile accident at Shadyside and Broad Run Roads, Engine 39-1 arrived to report two vehicles blocking and one vehicle needing a "door pop" for patient removal. Fire Police began shutting down the roadway and diverting traffic to keep our personnel safe. The crews opened the door with the Jaws of Life Combi tool, and the patient was removed and transported to a local hospital.

As you can see in the picture, WBFC personnel are taking the COVID 19 seriously, as during every incident we are donning masks and nitrile gloves, among other protective measures when dealing with incidents during these times.
