Accident with Entrapment

Friday evening, shortly after 10:00pm, the volunteers at WBFC, Modena EMS and Medic 93 were dispatched to a single vehicle accident with entrapment and fire. Crews arrived to find a vehicle overturned with heavy entrapment and the fire extinguished by a bystander. Crews worked for 30 minutes to stabilize the vehicle and extricate the occupant, while the other occupants were able to self extricate with the assistance of PSPE and bystanders prior to our arrival. All occupants were transported to local hospitals and WBFC crews remained on scene until 1:50am Saturday morning, the roadway remained shut down by fire police so an investigation could be conducted.
