Saturday afternoon around 4:10 pm, West Bradford Fire Co and our mutual aid partners were alerted to a dwelling fire, responding units were advised that there was a dog trapped inside, upon our arrival it was discovered that there were three dogs inside and no one was home. Chief 39, Engine 38 and Engine 39-1 were able to gain access and safely remove two of the dogs who jumped the fence and ran down the road, crews advanced hose lines into the dwelling to extinguish the fire and the third dog was found hiding in a closest unharmed but scared and safely carried out by a fire fighter. The two runaway dogs were located shortly after and were turned over to the owners unharmed. Units worked on scene and retuned to their stations shortly after 7:00 pm.

Our thoughts are with the homeowner as they deal with this difficult situation.
