Wednesday into Thursday morning Station 39 responded to 5 calls for service; 2 motor vehicle collisions, 1 car fire, 1 medical call and a fire alarm. Crews staffed the station in preparation for the first snow storm of the season and we hope everyone was able to stay safe and warm throughout the storm event. If you have a fire hydrant on or near your property and snow is blocking it, we kindly ask for you to shovel a 3' circle around the hydrant, in case of an emergency, crews need to be able to access the hydrant quickly, we would greatly appreciate your help with this task.
