Over the next few days the Forestry Department has issued a statement that the Fire Danger is and will continue to be Very High. This statement means that fires will be difficult to control and spread rapidly. Outdoor burning SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED. If a fire is to start do not delay in calling 911 to report the fire. Open burning of fire pits and campfires should be extinguished.
