Young's Road Brush Fire

The West Bradford Volunteers responded a brush fire off of Young's Road in West Bradford Township early this afternoon.

Brush 39 arrived minutes after dispatch, reported an acre on fire and started containment operations. Mutual Aid brush trucks and tankers were added to the assignment following the size up. Engine 39-3 arrived and put a line in service while Tanker 39 secured their water supply. TAC 39 and ATV 36 arrived to assist Brush 39 with suppression operations in the field. Personnel from Brush 51, Squad 51, and Utility 36 established firelines and extinguished hot spots. Crews were on-scene for about two hours.
