Some time ago firefighter Ben Carrero, came up with the idea of reaching out and advertising to the community to let them know that we are "100% Volunteer", Ben came up with the idea of decals on the side of some of the apparatus, and began getting prices, letter sizing and font styles. It was voted on among the membership and the idea became reality. Unfortunately for WBFC, Ben has been commissioned into the United States Air Force, stationed in California, was called upon early, and was not able to see the project completed. Last week we had the decals installed and sent Ben the pictures. Thank you Ben for your help with this project. The first wave of decals to be installed, included Rescue 39, Engine 39-1 and Engine 39-3, we look forward to installing these decals on additional apparatus in the future.
