This past weekend a few of West Bradford's volunteers dedicated their time to perform a crucial task directly related to the safety of our community. As firefighters we rely heavily on the technological advancements made in the fire service industry. These improvements allow us to perform our duties effectively and efficiently; however, if they fail the consequences could be deadly.

The West Bradford Fire Company and its members like to keep a proactive stance on the servicing and testing of our equipment to better serve you! The memebers assisted in the annual test of the company's fire suppression hose; around 13,000 feet or nearly 2.5 miles! The sizes of the hose vary from 1.5" to 5" in diameter and can become very cumbersome when filled. The volunteers also tested and serviced 14 ground ladder that are kept on multiple company apparatus. The ladders assist in various operations performed during an emergency.
