| During the month of October, we had a special delivery of new Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), this delivery was the result of Grant Funding and hard work by the crew, specifying the type and trying several models. Since the delivery the crews have been training, over going over the functions of the new SCBA and on Sunday November 23 2014 they traveled to the West Chester Fire Training Center to perform a live fire training. After training the crew went back to the station cleaned up, went over the SCBA again, to familiarize themselves with the functions and on Wednesday evening (Thanksgiving Eve) they crew took time from their families to place the new SCBA on the apparatus and in service. |
