Saturday Morning at approximately 9:40 am, WBFC received the dispatch for an automobile fire on Strasburg Road east of the Embreeville Complex. Units arrived to find a pickup truck with fire from the engine compartment, spreading to the passenger compartment. Engine 39-3 deployed a pre-connect handline and began to extinguish the fire, Engine 39-1 arrived shortly after and assisted with extinguishing the fire. Fire Police closed the roadway between Broad Run Road and Shagbark Dr. Units cleared the scene after the tow company arrived and removed the vehicle from the roadway.
