October 8- While the members were seeing to the fesitivties of the afternoon session of the Annual Fire Prevention Week Open House. Station 38 was dispatched to the Westbound Route 30 Bypass, west of Rt 340 for a woods fire. Station 38 apparatus arrived to what appeared to be multiple brush fires with exposure to a residence. Additional units were requested, including a brush task force assignment. It was at this point that the members from Station 39 were alerted. Station 39 units assisted Thorndale for about 2 hours and returned in just enough time to set up the evening portion of the Open House

Special Events

October 7- The members of Station 39 participated in a 34 year tradition by assisting with the operations of the Marshalton Triathlon. While no longer responsible for all for the planning of the event, Station 39 members assist with set up, operations, and logistics during race day. The Fire Company appreciates all that attend, as some of the proceeds from race day go towards the operations of the Fire Company.
