Accident
June 13, 2010

In the early hours of June 13, the company was dispatched for an accident with entrapment on Marshallton Thorndale Rd near Shadyside Rd.

Chief 39 arrived on location and reported one trapped. Rescue operations were set up and one occupant was extricated from the vehicle. Two patients were transported to the Trauma center.

Units on location: Command 39, Engine 39-3, Engine 39-2, Rescue 39, Tanker 39 and Traffic 39

Muitual aid: Ambulance 46, Ambulance 37 and Medic 93

5 County Task Force
June 6, 2010

Members of the West Bradford Fire Company traveled to West Chester for a 5 county task force drill. The crew of engine 39-3 was assigned to group 1B and worked with other crews from Berwyn, Valley Forge, and the Fame Fire Company of West Chester. The crews worked together on simulated incidents around the Matlack St. area.

The 1st was a vehicle accident with 1 person trapped in their car. The 2nd incident was a hot air balloon crash at the parking garage for WCU.

The crew of tanker 39 worked with other tankers from Avondale, Lionville, and the Good Will Fire Company of West Chester. Crews worked together to supply water for a simulated house fire at the West Chester fire school.

Downingtown West Graduation
June 15, 2010

Engine 39-2 headed to the Downingtown West High School to congratulate 4 of our members the only way we know how, by making a lot of noise!!

We would like to congratulate Jon Allison, Matt Ronca, Jess Renaud, and Kelsey Veurink and wish them all the best of luck in the future.
